Clean Book Shelves

I was a busy girl yesterday I went through all the shelves and pulled off all the discontinued books. All these books have been put downstairs on sale for $10.00. There are some great books by C&T, TPP and AQS. Make sure you make a point of going downstairs and having a look through all the titles. You never know what treasures you may find.

26 Anniversary Sale

Our 26th Anniversary sale will be Tuesday June 3rd - Sunday June 8th. 20% off Everything in the store including pre-cut fat quarters and kits. Gail has been cleaning up so we will have lots of in-store specials and some of our famous grab bags. Think about the projects you would like to do for fall. A great time to buy for future projects. Angie from Quiltsource will be here on Tuesday June 3rd to show new products and will be showing how to use some older rulers and tools you may have forgotten about. Perfect time to get some friends together and plan a day trip. Remember we have picnic tables and you are welcome to bring a lunch and eat outside under the tree.

Art to Heart Has Done It Again

Art to Heart's Nancy Halvorsen has done it again. She has come up with another great book with Christmas projects. In this book Nancy puts her own spin on the 12 Days of Christmas.
Some of the projects are a 12 days of christmas quilt, a pear and holly tablerunner and my personal favorite a days till santa countdown. If you love Christmas like I do you must see this book.

Shed Some Light On Your Quilting

We now have in stock Bendable Bright Lights by Dream World. The light attaches to the side of your sewing machine. It's flexible arm allows you to position how you like. It is small so it is out of your way when you are sewing. If you have more than one machine you can purchase an extra mounting bracket so you can move your light around. The lights retail for $49.95 and would make a great gift.

Needle Felting Craze

Have you been bitten by the needlefelting bug? Clover has come out with molds for needle felting which can add a new dimension to your projects. You can apply them directly to your project or worked separately and added for a 3 dimensional effect. There are 8 to choose from and I think they will be a lot of fun to play with.
